had this to say:
For a small store, it’s a must if you knit, crochet, and quilt. Right off the main square in downtown La Grange, there’s easy parking. The store is very organized and bright so the yarn and quilt fabrics pop—essential when you’re figuring out what the color will actually be. I loved that they kept printed copies of the patterns used for items throughout the store, in case I saw my next project (which of course I did). It’s an easy day trip from Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, plus a comprehensive, user friendly website for everything they offer. Definitely on my list for future knitting project needs!

This was my first time visiting The Quilted Skein during the Best little Yarn Crawl in Texas! Cute store with so many fabric and yarn options! After having been to three other yarn stores that morning participating in the yarn crawl I noticed this store stocks beautiful unique textured yarns that I have not seen in other yarn stores. The staff were very friendly, warm, and welcoming!

Seen this place on Skint Northeners and they spoke with a lovely lady, she was a gem.

My new kitchen towels ( hand crafted by the owner) really brighten up my dull kitchen. The selection of colors and patterns makes it difficult to pick your favorite.
